Who'd have thought...?

Hi Everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well in these social circumstances.

Thank you for worrying about me. I am doing fine. It has just been as crazy as usual and I am experiencing every day that we are not really out of the woods yet.

However, I have some great news to share with you.

My book, Twilight Starlight World Alight (The Bay Area Blues, Book 5) has become the Winner in the Romantic Suspense category in the 2021 New York City Big Book Award. A winner??? Really a winner? I mean... WINNER? Holy cow! Who'd have thought that?

In addition to that, like a bottle of sparkly confetti, my book, Serendipity in Berkeley (The Bay Area Blues, Book 4) has been awarded Distinguished Favorite in the same contest. Yay, a double shot!

(Oh by the way, Serendipity had also been chosen as a Page Turner Award Finalist, which was good news as well, but you cannot beat a Winner prize, of course.)

I received fancy banners and logos! Please check them out on my website!

It has been another hectic year for me and I cannot even sit and relax, but sometimes life is sweet and rewards us.

Another piece of news is about my newest book. It is finally, FINALLY, in the last stretch before the goal. (A long story short, I had to go through three different proofreading editors since my original editor had been too busy.)

At any rate, I hope I will be able to publish Lovers of Raven's Crossing by the end of November.

I will come back to write another post when I have my next days off and tell you more about my next challenge.

Till then, please stay safe and be well. Ta-ta!

Hugs,

Kay
